How To Write Money Pulling eBay Titles For Your Auctions
How To Write Money Pulling eBay Titles For Your Auctions
Here are a few guidelines that can help make your auction titles become more attractive and produce better results.
#1. Always, and we mean always – describe YOUR product and do NOT use false keywords that you think will attract eyes such as Pam Anderson or Sex UNLESS you are actually selling an item that pertains to these words. For starters, you will get traffic from people looking for those specific key words and when they see that you are offering a silk tie or a Nintendo DS instead – they will be pretty angry at you for wasting their valuable search time. You will also get lookers who are searching in category specifics and when they find that your title is describing something totally off category they will just pass you up all together. Bottom line, describe what you are selling and do not use any keyword spam. You may get more traffic by spamming BUT it is not quality traffic that will be buying from you.
#2. Here is a list of some of the most powerful key words and phrases in advertising. Some of these attention grabbers have been used to entice buyers for more than a hundred years! Most of them were made popular by clever mail order kings and they still work in today’s fast paced electronic society. In no particular order they are: New, Safe, Incredible, The Best, Outstanding, Number One, Buy, Purchase, Easy, EZ, Today, Amazing , Limited, Rare, Scarce, Popular, At Last, Powerful, Important, Success, Miracle, Secret, How To, Finally, Wanted and Hurry. If at all possible and most importantly practical, stick one or more of these key words in your title or subtitles. Do not over do it though, too many “Power Words” in one sales pitch and it may be difficult for your customers to read.
#3. DO NOT USE ALL CAPS - ALL THE TIME or EXCESSIVE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!! Take a look at that last sentence compared to the rest of this article. Sure it grabs your attention because it is different but it is hard to read and could be portrayed as rude and even considered a form of yelling in the cyberspace world. Instead, capitalize only key words or the first letter of each important word. Use italics and bold only when a slight stress of a word is required in your title, such as in this sentence.
There you have it, now get out there and start selling!
